Couples Counseling
Love should not feel like survival.

Even strong relationships can lose their rhythm. Sometimes one person shuts down while the other pushes harder. Sometimes the laughter fades, and small arguments become daily habits. Sometimes trust is broken, and even though both people want to move forward, they do not know how.
Couples counseling is where two people learn to see each other again. It is where we slow things down, rebuild respect, and get honest about what is working and what is not.
You do not need to be on the edge of a breakup to start. Many couples come to therapy because they want to protect what they have, not because they have already lost it.
How I Support Couples My approach focuses on helping both partners feel heard and understood while teaching practical ways to rebuild emotional safety. We do not keep score or assign blame. We focus on awareness, accountability, and change.
I use emotionally focused and Gottman-informed methods that are grounded in real research. You will learn to identify triggers, manage conflict, and communicate without tearing each other down. I help you uncover the deeper meaning behind arguments so that connection replaces confusion.
Each session creates space for honesty, growth, and repair. Together we work toward rebuilding trust, improving intimacy, and creating new patterns.
- Learning how to argue without disrespect
- Rebuilding trust after betrayal or broken promises
- Managing conflict without shutting down or walking away
- Balancing independence and togetherness
- Reconnecting after distance, resentment, or emotional withdrawal
- Strengthening friendship, communication, and intimacy
- Understanding each other's needs instead of guessing or assuming
My Style I am calm but direct. I believe accountability and compassion can coexist. My sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and honest. I guide both of you toward understanding how your behaviors impact the relationship and how to repair the damage with care.
You can expect me to challenge both partners to show up fully. I will help you learn new skills, not just talk about the same problems week after week.
